Bill: s. 2054: "An act relative to habitual offenders, sentencing and improviing law enforcement tool."
On Thursday Nov. 10th, 2011 the Massachusetts Senate voted unanimously to pass S. 2054: It has already passed in the House and is presently with the Conference Committee. This bill if it is signed into law will carry the follow effects: Parole eligibility for lifers, would increase from 15-25 years and further crowd our prisons, Mandatory post release supervisioin would be forced upon All people incarcerated in Massachusetts prisons, thus increasinig the revolving door of recidivism. S. 2054 will lead to Mass incarceration in Massachusetts etc...
